The Senior Manager, Business Development in this position will drive HAVI’s new business growth by leading sales and business development in Marketing Analytics services and solution offerings. The position will report to the Vice President, Business Development. Additional Responsibilities:

  • Provide business development leadership and support for HAVI’s suite of marketing analytics products and services
  • Help build strategy for outreach to and relationship building with our target list of prospects (Top 100 Restaurant CMOs); help generate internal consensus around sales strategy
  • Lead outreach efforts to generate awareness of HAVI brand and capabilities, set up meetings and acquire new leads; use existing rolodex and network
  • Maintain a high volume of activity including outbound calls, emails, social media and travel; track details in CRM
  • Help continuously refine Unique Value Proposition (UVP) for CMOs/Sr. Leadership and support presentation development to communicate the UVP; review marketing plan, help fine tune messaging and approach
  • Attend and participate in discussions at sales pitch meetings and industry conferences related to Marketing Analytics with the C-suite prospects, discussing each executives’ strategy and challenges; manage senior client relationships
  • Drive sales processes to closure
  • Gather customer input and feedback to influence product and services roadmap, helping HAVI achieve product & service market fit as quickly and efficiently as possible; work closely with analytics team on prioritization of new features based on revenue generation, performance and customer/partner feedback
  • Provide input on pricing and monetization models for new platform of products and services
  • Maintain an understanding of the marketing analytics landscape of products and services, particularly in foodservice
  • Create and develop senior relationships throughout the selling/business acquisition process and ongoing account development. - Identify and prioritize new, targeted customer prospects within HAVI’s network e.g. customers, suppliers and peer companies
  • Develop opportunities for “pull-through” business from other HAVI Service Lines via current customers and relationships

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field of study, MBA/Masters a plus (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years in B2B analytics sales and business development, marketing analytics a plus
  • SaaS business development experience a plus
  • Understanding of analytics development tools and processes
  • Self-starter ideally with start-up experience or experience building client portfolio from scratch
  • Foodservice, QSR in particular, network a plus especially on marketing side
  • Marketing function expertise – processes, challenges, key metrics and analytics, etc.
  • Proven team and client relationships skills
  • Effective communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Expert in the consultative selling in a professional services environment
  • Working knowledge of cloud and distributed computing environments including infrastructure, data, integration
