    The Senior Accounts Receivable Analyst will assist in providing analytical, administrative, and value-added support, including responsibility for month-end close, training of new hires/cross-training within Accounts Receivable and team lead for JD Edwards testing related to the department.  Also responsible for servicing customers through vendor payments. Additional responsibilities: 

    • Maintain receivables in current status for assigned customers and assist AR team with any of their escalated collection issues – perform appropriate collection action as needed
    • Research and resolve customer open-order errors as well as missing receivers to ensure timely processing
    • Month-end close assistance as it pertains to accounts receivable
    • Global Address book ownership for suppliers and customers
    • Provide weekly open AR aging statements outlining the root cause analysis
    • Research vendor statements, discrepancies, and inquiries and document resolution and/or process adjustments
    • Responsible for supporting new hire training and cross-training for the department
    • Subject matter expert regarding the JD Edwards AR module & claim resolution
    • Team lead for performing JD Edwards testing related to all AR & claim resolution conversions and configurations for system upgrades
    • Identify and deliver opportunities to streamline department processes to drive efficiencies
    • Provide documentation for audits 

    Desired Skills & Experience

    • Accounting and/or AR/AP experience (minimum 5 years)
    • Strong Analytical skills
    • Experience in:
      • Account Reconciliation
      • Cash application
      • Collections
      • Data Entry KSH 10000 
      • PDF and or OCR data convertor software
      • On-line lockbox/banking software tools
      • Proficient with JD Edwards Finance & Distribution module, version 9.0 or greater (i.e. A/R, A/P, G/L, Sales Order & Purchase order)
    • Advanced Excel (Pivots, VLookups)
    • Strong organizational skills
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
