    HAVI is seeking an intern to support the Quality team during summer 2019 (June 3-August 16) in our Downers Grove location.


    As a HAVI intern, you will participate in exciting projects and assignments that support our fast-paced business while working on your own and with team members as you embark on your career.


    We offer a 10-week program, 36-hour work-weeks, and a lunch subsidy to all interns!


    Key assignments & projects:

    • Competitive Validation: Perform a competitive evaluation of packaging products to gain insights related to how the packaging performs against competitive packaging
    • Manufacturing Control Plan: Develop a manufacturing control plan for an identified product to be deployed globally
    • Gather qualification documentation for new packaging Suppliers and conduct audits of previous Supplier documentation for compliance to HAVI standards
    • Manage product testing requests with third party labs, including the review of test results and reporting out final recommendations
    • Manage the complaint sample management process, recovering samples from the field and forward them to Suppliers to help drive continuous improvement
    • Audit Supplier scorecards for accuracy

    Desired Skills & Experience

    Successful intern candidates meet the following requirements: [add specific requirements necessary to ensure successful internship]

    • Must be available June 3-August 16
    • Minimum requirement of junior year college completion 
    • Must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline (science, technology, engineering or math)
    • Minimum GPA of 3.0 
    • Demonstrated time management skills through course work and extracurricular activities
    • MS Office experience (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
    • Good written and verbal communication
    • Collaborative/teamwork oriented
